A motorcyclist approached the tail end of stationary traffic two abreast. He proceeded to overtake on the offside. A car driver came out of a side road on the nearside to go through a gap and turn right onto the main road in the opposite direction. The driver was given a signal to emerge by a milk tanker driver. As the car driver inched out, he collided with the motorcyclist.
