Jodi is a Partner at RTA Law LLP having joined the firm in 2011. She is a graduate of Aberdeen and Edinburgh Universities.
Jodi has over 14 years’ experience representing vulnerable road users. She specialises in handling catastrophic injury cases which includes traumatic brain injuries, spinal injuries, amputations and polytrauma following road traffic accidents. Jodi has a keen interest in the advancement of technology in the field of prosthetics and orthotics. Her focus is always on early intervention of rehabilitation to secure the best outcomes for her clients.
Jodi has expanded her knowledge in cycling, motorcycling and driving. She completed the British Cycling Breeze Ride Leader Course, has done her CBT and is an IAM Advanced Driver. Her aim is to support her clients through their post injury journey and help them navigate their new normal. She works closely with rehabilitation providers and medical experts to make sure her clients have the best team around them to assist with their recovery.
In addition, Jodi delivers training and educational talks to the cycling community and has appeared in the media as one of Scotland’s leading cycle law experts.
Outside of work Jodi enjoys staying active. After swimming competitively in her youth, she has now competed in several triathlon events and is always in search of her next challenge. Her background in competitive sport allows her to better understand the needs of her clients and the impact injury can have on an active lifestyle.
