Zara is a Partner at RTA Law, where she completed her training. She has extensive experience representing vulnerable road users and is dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes for clients who have often suffered life-changing injuries.
Outside of work, Zara is an enthusiastic cyclist and runner. She has participated in several sportives, including the Caledonia Etape, Ride to the Sun and Poppy Scotland, highlighting her passion for cycling. Zara is also a member of VIE Velo, an Edinburgh-based tandem cycling club that enables visually impaired riders to cycle with sighted pilots.
Alongside her cycling interests, Zara holds a CBT motorcycle licence and is an Advanced Driver (F1RST) with the Institute of Advanced Motorists, reflecting her strong commitment to road safety. Her personal experience provides valuable insight into the realities of sharing the road and further enhances her ability to advocate effectively for vulnerable road users.
