John was knocked from his bike by taxi

John was involved in a motorcycle collision whilst on his way to work.

A taxi travelling in the same direction crossed in front of the motorcyclist's path to access a junction to their left. The two vehicles collided and our client was knocked from his bike.

John sustained extensive soft tissue damage to his right shoulder, left hip, his neck and back. Because of his injuries, he required to take time off work. Later, medical reports also revealed that the client had fractured his back.

Changing Solicitors

Settlement reached as the court date was pending

Despite photographs from the scene and a list of very compelling witnesses (a doctor, a KC and her husband, and a supportive Police Officer), the Third Party insurers did not accept liability and we were forced to litigate. The Third Party Solicitors also failed to accept liability until the week prior to the Court Hearing. Settlement was only able to be reached the day before the case went to Court.

Motorcycling Injuries

The case finally settled for £17,500.

We funded the case from start to finish which meant our client was able to get access to justice. We were able to fund the medical reports which identified the reason behind the client’s ongoing pain.
